£1 to repair nature this Christmas

£1 to repair nature this Christmas

By giving just £1, you can protect the fragile places that wildlife needs to survive.

Across our nature reserves, we’re seeing what happens when wild spaces shrink and the climate grows more chaotic.

Reed warblers return each spring only to find their nests swept away by sudden downpours.

Water voles, once at home in quiet waterways, struggle as invasive species overwhelm the banks they depend on.

Even our most familiar creatures now face unfamiliar dangers.

For generations, wetlands were drained, woodlands carved apart and rivers treated as obstacles to industry.

Landscapes were reshaped for human convenience.

This has left wildlife with nowhere to go when sudden, violent storms come, or the seasons shift overnight.

These creatures never had a say in those choices.

But you do have a choice. And you can make it now.

Our wildlife relies on a community of nature lovers like you. With a single pound, you can help us repair what has been damaged.

You can support the restoration of whole habitats, places where food and shelter is plentiful, and nature has room to breathe again. You can help ensure that little robins, fluffy barn owls and vulnerable hedgehogs have a place to call home.

All you need to do is give £1.

This Christmas, your £1 says: “I’m giving wildlife a fighting chance.”

Your donation will enable us to: Maintain hedgerows to provide shelter; check and repair bird and bat boxes; refill and maintain bird feeders; provide supplementary food for birds and small mammals; conduct wildlife surveys; track signs of disease; provide safe spots for hibernation and roosting; and maintain safe footpaths, boardwalks and hides to avoid habitat disturbance.

Your support helps us build and sustain richer, stronger, more resilient habitats.

Places you can step into, listen to, and feel alive within.

Places where birds can nest safely, mammals can thrive, and where the balance of nature can begin to right itself.

That’s real repair. That’s real hope.

Every £1 will make a genuine difference for wildlife this winter. If you are able to spare more than £1, your impact will be even bigger. Here's an idea of what your generous donations can do:
