November Photography Competition Results

Paul Gray

The theme of November’s photography competition was ‘Shades of Autumn’, and all your wonderful entries did not disappoint!

November is such a wonderful time of year for getting out into nature and seeing the amazing change in colours and wildlife all around. We had some amazing photographs of autumnal landscapes and even some wonderful images of a Red Squirrel!

As always, we received so many amazing entries and choosing a winner was extremely difficult, but after much deliberation the winner of November’s photography competition is, Paul Grey!

Our judges though that his image, taken at Avenham Park, was simply stunning!

‘This captures the theme very well and has the bonus of a sunset and shadows, with the shadow of the tree coming towards the viewer and fitting perfectly into the corner of the photo, making it a well composed shot’

Luke Hewson

Second place goes to Luke Hewson with his image titled ‘Vein’, taken at Abney Hall Park, Cheadle.

Third place goes to Dave Bennion with his image of a conker surrounded by autumnal leaves.

A huge thank you to everyone who sent in their wonderful images! The winner will be contacted via email with details of how to redeem their £100 optics voucher prize.
