SANTA's Post Box - Hive, Moss Bank Park (NOV 26th)
About the event
Writing and posting a letter to Santa is a tradition cherished by families and is as much a part of the seasonal festivities as school nativity performances, mince pies and turkey dinners. This trail allows you and your family to make this most magical aspect of Christmas and make memories that will last a lifetime.
This year we want to be part of this much loved Christmas custom and we will be giving children the opportunity to write their letters to Santa, they will also be decorating envelopes and heading off on a winter walk through the HIVE to find Santa's special post box! Along the way the children will need to use their maps to locate the secret stamping stations needed to ensure their letter makes it all the way to Lapland!
And for that final bit of Christmas cheer, all children completing the challenge will receive their very own personalised letter through the post from Santa after the event.
Children have been writing letters to St Nicholas for over 150 years, practising their writing skills as they jot down their greatest wishes to this cherished man living in a faraway frozen land. Make the most of this wonderful tradition and join us for a memorable event this Christmas at the Hive.
Tickets: Tickets must be purchased online. The cost of the day pass is priced at £4.50 and each Santa's Post Box pack is £2.50. You must have a day pass in order to participate in the Santa's Post Box event. Please ensure each child wanting to participate in Santa's Post Box has a separate ticket.
