About the event
Join us for an immersive Medieval weekend at Brockholes as our visitor village is transformed into a Norman encampment with stalls displaying Norman artifacts, fashion, weaponry and much more!
We will be joined throughout the weekend by the Historia Normannis re-enactment group who will be bringing our theme to life through live demonstrations and authentic Norman clothing.
Our Medieval Armour Workshop is a fantastic opportunity to meet our Norman warriors for an immersive session where you can learn all about Norman arms and armour, learn how to dress as a Medieval Knight and watch a live re-enactment of a Norman battle!
Ticket Price £5.99 per child, tickets include:
- Access to the interactive presentation on Norman arms and armour.
- Demo of how to dress as a real knight.
- Access to Norman battle re-enactment.
- Each child receives their own Knight's sword to keep!
*Adult spectator tickets are free but must be booked additionally to any child's ticket as we have limited capacity for this event.
Sessions are 1-hour long and we will be running two sessions on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August at 11am and 12:30pm.
Know before you go
Dogs
No dogs are permitted on site, with the exception of assistance dogs. This is to protect the wildlife and our conservation cattle on the nature reserve.
