Corporate Conservation Day at Brockholes Nature Reserve
Brockholes Nature Reserve,
Just off Junction 31 of the M6, Preston , Lancashire, PR5 0AG
About the event
Join us at Brockholes Nature Reserve for a corporate conservation day.
Designed specifically for small businesses and teams, this day will be the perfect opportunity for you to get together with your colleagues and other like minded businesses to do your part for wildlife.
These days offer the opportunity to enhance staff morale, productivity and teamworking skills, while helping undertake vital nature conservation work.
Spend the day with our experienced Reserve Officers as you help maintain this incredible reserve through clearing and cutting scrub which you will then use to make 'dead hedges'.
Brockholes is a new kind of nature reserve: an unreserved reserve that brims with wildlife, teaches the next generation about the wonders of nature, and gives back to the local community through multiple projects. This former sand and gravel quarry has been transformed into a natural haven. Fields brimming with orchids and yellow rattle, woods shining bright with bluebells, and tranquil lakes all transport you to a magical wonderland.
This day will run from 10am until 4pm.
All PPE will be provided.
Lunch is not included. Please bring with you a packed lunch and plenty of water to keep you going throughout the day.
Toilets are available on our Visitor Village. Light refreshments are also available to purchase in our welcome centre.
Full details will be sent out to participants before the conservation day.
Please note: this session is open to businesses and teams only and will be made up of people from different companies.
