On arrival follow the signage into the Hive (we are located behind Moss Bank Park Cafe). Once in the Hive you will need to head to our entrance kiosk (shed) where you will be met by one of our team

About the event

Based within Bolton’s iconic Moss Bank Park, the Hive offers a unique space, made up of a series of gardens adorned with natural play equipment.

Designed with pre-schoolers and the under seven’s in mind, the Hive encourages young people to make lasting connections with nature through creative play. Features such as our mud kitchen, colourful sensory garden, magical willow domes and our water play installation will inspire the imaginations of young minds.

The Hive Family Day Pass ticket provides access to the site to a family of 6, which includes any combination of adults and children.

The Hive is open every Wednesday to Sunday from between 10am and 3pm (last entry at 2pm).  All Family Day Pass Holders will receive a 10% discount in the Moss Bank Park Café on the day of their visit.

Enjoy wild adventure and outdoor play and you have access to all our wonderful natural play features and equipment including:
