Make a Bat Box
Event details
About the event
By booking a family place, you will learn so much about the life of a bat from our local Bat Conservation Trust team. These amazing bat boxes will then be put up in parks and woods locally.
Each box will be personalised by you with your own ‘batty’ decoration, and there will also be a few batty crafts to do to.
Sessions start at 11:30 am and 14:00 pm. Each workshop is 1.5 hours and are suitable for families, for children 5+.
Please book early, as places are limited [10 per session]. One family booking provides one bat box for you to make (each needs supervision by a parent/guardian). If you want to make more than one box, please book another family ticket. All materials are provided, and booking is essential.
This is a free activity with Lancashire Wildlife Trust, the North Lancashire Bat Group and Lancaster City Council, funded by UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
