About the event

Alex’s wildlife photography workshop aims to inspire, showing that it isn’t all about fancy equipment and complicated settings. Learn the basics and put your new skills to the test.

The two hour workshop will be split into two sections:

  • The first hour will focus on learning, taking stories and experiences from Alex’s journey: from someone with no interest in photography and wildlife, to now being a passionate wildlife photographer and conservationist. You will learn about the settings on your camera and how to best implement them in the field, as well as some tips and tricks that Alex has picked up over the years.
  • The second hour will be putting your new skills to the test. You will head out on Little Woolden Moss to take some photos of your own, with the chance to chat with Alex and ask questions as you go.
