This little Robin, taken at Brockholes, is breath-taking! The way that Sim has managed to capture the natural detail of the Robin with such clarity, is fantastic. From the definition of its plumage to even its feet as it grips onto the branch, this photo fits the theme of ‘Wildlife Close-Up’ perfectly.

Our voters loved this photograph with one saying, ‘Everyone loves our favourite National bird and this photo encapsulates it perfectly’. Another added that it is a ‘great and natural photo of a robin without lots of edits’.
