Photography Competition Results – November 2023

Dave Bennion

The results from Novembers photography competition are in!

As we say goodbye to Autumn and embrace the winter months, we first wanted to celebrate all the wonderful sights and colours of Autumn. From the crisp frosty mornings to the orange and brown hues of the landscapes around, it truly is a wonderful time of year.

November’s photography competition was all about the glorious ‘Shades of Autumn’ that we have seen over the past few months. From sunrises and sunsets to glorious frost-bitten landscapes, and even wonderful wildlife, the entries this month were phenomenal!

Unfortunately, there can be only one winner. After much deliberation, the winner of November’s photography competition is … Dave Bennion!

Autumn - Bamber Bridge

Dave Bennion

Our judges really loved this picture, with one adding that this photograph is a “really magical picture that draws you in to step through the image into the real place depicted”.

Taken In Bamber Bridge, his beautifully framed photograph encapsulated the theme of ‘Shades of Autumn’ perfectly! The way that he captures the blanket of Autumn leaves hiding the footpath beneath the trees is simply breathtaking.

Adam Barton

Adam Barton

Second place is awarded to Adam Barton and his incredible autumnal photograph. The way that he has managed to capture the orange, autumn light illuminating through the tree is wonderful, our judges loved it!
