Join us at Lunt Meadows Nature Reserve for a corporate conservation day.

Designed specifically for small businesses and teams, this day will be the perfect opportunity for you to get together with your colleagues and other like minded businesses to do your part for wildlife. 

These days offer the opportunity to enhance staff morale, productivity and teamworking skills, while helping undertake vital nature conservation work.

Spend the day with our experienced reserve officers as you help maintain this incredible reserve through cutting willow, creating reed channels and clearing scrub.

Our reserve officer will also take you on a guided walk around the reserve highlighting the history and the restoration work that has been carried out to preserve this wetland nature reserve. 

This spectacular wetland nature reserve, nestled along the meandering River Alt in North Merseyside, wasn’t always the wildlife wonderland it is today. It was intensively farmed arable land, and only when it was bought by the Environment Agency for development as a flood storage reservoir and a nature reserve did Lunt Meadows become a real destination for bird-lovers. Lunt's history is much longer though because, As well as a nature reserve, Lunt Meadows is a fascinating archaeological site home to one of just a few surviving Mesolithic settlements.

This day will run from 10am until 4pm. 

All PPE will be provided. 

Lunch is not included. Please bring with you a packed lunch and plenty of water to keep you going throughout the day.

Toilets are available in our learning centre.  

No experience needed.
