About the event

Veterinary surgeon Lisbeth Tuckey will share some of the highs, lows and challenges of working with wildlife casualty cases. A variety of birds and mammals are admitted to Kendal College Animal Rescue Centre throughout the year from rescued seals to the common wildlife casualties like injured birds and hedgehogs. This talk will cover the ethics and processes of wildlife triage, rehabilitation and release.

We are a friendly, local group of the Lancashire Wildlife Trust who meet throughout the year to share our interest in the natural world. Our wildlife talks are held in the Church of the Ascension hall, Michaelson Avenue, Torrisholme, LA4 6RH at 7.30pm on the second Friday of every month from September to March. Anyone who enjoys nature is welcome. Entry is £3 (includes free refreshments).
