A great party for Anne

Anne Selby retirement party at Brockholes

We had to wait nearly a year but Anne Selby finally held her retirement party at Brockholes

Our Chief Executive for more than 29 years retired during lockdown, and was only able to hold her party today.

Colleagues and friends from her time at the Trust came to the party and had lots of wonderful and uplifting stories to tell from Anne's time at the helm. Anne leaves an amazing legacy after taking on a small Wildlife Trust and creating a wildlife movement, which is respected across the North West and the UK.

Our new Chief Executive Tom Burditt has been in post for nearly a year now and is proving a popular and excellent replacement, picking up where Anne left off, despite taking over during the pandemic.

Anne worked under two presidents, Ted Jackson and Steve Garland. Steve is handing over the presidency to the capable hands of our treasurer Julian Jackson.
