This image, taken at Mere Sand Wood Nature Reserve, fits our theme of ‘People in Nature’ perfectly! From the misty morning to the stillness of the water and the trees, the way that Mike has captured the atmosphere in this image is incredible. We loved how although the people feature in the image, it is the nature all around that shines through to steal the show.

One voter loved how this photo ‘shows a seamless integration of man and nature in a wonderful tranquil setting’ with another adding ‘It feels the most natural, I feel like I’m them embracing the nature they are looking at’.
