About the event

In this workshop we will be dissecting real pellets found on Lunt Meadows. You will learn how to take them apart and work out what the owls have been eating from examining the bones inside and using scientific keys. Our friendly team will teach you how to tell the difference between different pellets so that if you find them out and about yourself you will know what birds of prey have left them.

This event is open to all ages and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Safety equipment and dissection tools will be provided.
