Event details
About the event
This is an opportunity for all visitors of all ages to roll up their sleeves and enjoy a spot of pond dipping! Discover what lives below the watery depths of the raised ponds.
The sessions are just for fun and no previous knowledge is required.
Pond dipping sessions will run at Brockholes on:
- Wednesday 27th May 2026
- Friday 29th May 2026
Pond dipping sessions are 45 minutes long and start from 10.15am. Sessions will start on time, so please arrive promptly at Pan’s Garden (signposted on the day from the Visitor Village) to enable our staff to brief the groups so you learn how to dip safely and identify your finds. Please take care when walking from the Visitor Village along the delivery road to Pan’s Garden.
Everyone going into Pan’s Garden for the pond dipping session must have a ticket regardless of age (all adults and all children of all ages). Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (with a ticket). Pan’s Garden will be limited to ticket holders only during the sessions.
Please note you will be required to share equipment with other people in the group.
Please come dressed for the weather wearing sturdy footwear. If it rains the session will still go ahead!
Car parking charges apply.
