About the event

Our popular family and dog friendly bonfire night returns to Brockholes this year! Enjoy the cosiness of our bonfire without the loud noises of fireworks. 

Set on our floating visitor village at the heart of Brockholes Nature Reserve, our bonfire night ensures a safe distance from local fireworks displays meaning that four-legged friends can relax and enjoy meeting new friends whilst you soak up a cosy autumnal atmosphere! 

The evening will be packed with fun for all the family including children's entertainment, games, activities and unlimited marshmallow roasting. Try your hand at our traditional carnival games including old favourites such as Tin Can Alley, Hook a Duck and Coconut Shy.

The Lancashire Wildlife Trust is a local charity working to create, protect and manage vital habitat for wildlife and connect people with nature across Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside. Proceeds from ticket sales for our events support this work and help us to provide and maintain our facilities on site for our visitors. 

Please note: All dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times whilst on site.

Event Times

Gates open at 5:00pm, entry times are staggered between 5:00pm and 6:00pm to ensure that everyone gets in as smoothly as possible. If you are unable to make your allocated time, you can arrive any time from 6:00pm.

All of our entertainment and activities will be available from the moment the gates open at 5:00pm until 8:00pm. 

The bonfire will be lit at 6:45pm, possibly by a flaming arrow!

Due to the popularity of our dog friendly bonfire night event, booking in advance is essential as we cannot guarantee walk up tickets on the day.
