We are thrilled with the recent improvements to our school grounds, including new planting areas, a wildlife pond, and raised garden beds. These additions have transformed the space into a vibrant, engaging outdoor classroom that will support hands-on learning, creativity, and wellbeing.
The pond and planting areas are already attracting wildlife, offering excellent opportunities for science and environmental studies. The raised beds have been a big hit with the children, staff and parents and will help them learn about nature, healthy eating, and teamwork.
A huge thank you to the team who carried out the work. They were professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about creating a space that would benefit both students and staff. Thanks to the National Education Nature Park grant and the team’s hard work, we now have a sustainable space that will continue to grow and inspire for years to come.

We are absolutely delighted with the incredible work carried out by the Nature Works: School Grounds team in designing and installing our brand-new Forest School. From the very first conversation through to the final touches, the entire process has been nothing short of outstanding.
The design itself is truly inspired — thoughtful, creative, and perfectly tailored to our site and our children’s needs. Every feature has been carefully considered to create a rich, immersive outdoor learning environment that encourages exploration, imagination, and a deep connection with nature. The attention to detail in the planning phase gave us real confidence that we were in expert hands.
The installation was just as impressive. The team worked with skill, efficiency, and obvious passion for what they do. They took great care to work around the rhythms of our busy school day and made sure everything was left neat, safe, and ready to use. The finished Forest School has exceeded all our expectations. It’s a beautiful, engaging space that is already inspiring our pupils and staff alike.
