About the event

Who doesn't love our native red squirrels and want to see them protected for future generations to enjoy?

This interactive talk illustrates the characteristics of red (and grey) squirrels, their habitats, their communication habits, their presence in literature and mythology and importantly why they are susceptible to squirrel pox. The good news is we can do many things to help red squirrels not only survive but thrive!

Admission is by £5 donation which includes tea/coffee and biscuits. Parking is available.

Head down the A56 towards Manchester and then a right hand turn down Church Lane. The Church Inn is at the end on the right hand side. There is ample parking.
