in focus sets up shop at Brockholes Nature Reserve

We're incredibly excited to announce the arrival of in focus: The Binoculars and Telescope Specialists to Brockholes Nature Reserve in Preston.

For the past 21 years, in focus have had a home at the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust’s Martin Mere centre in Rufford. They have been a valuable source of information and expertise, updating visitors on recent bird sightings as well as providing wonderful equipment for them to try before they buy.

Andy Bunting, shop manager at in focus, said:

“Our new shop at Brockholes overlooks Number One Pit and will be open seven days a week between 10am - 5pm. For 95 per cent of our customers we will be much easier to get to and our new test facilities will be fantastic. Our sales will support the conservation work of the Lancashire Wildlife Trust.

“We pride ourselves on offering expert advice in a natural setting, so with the panoramic views from the new shop out across the reserve, our customers will be able to test equipment in field conditions.”

We're also very pleased to be able to offer a £100 voucher for in focus as the first prize of our monthly photography competition, open to all amateur photographers.

The in focus shop is currently located in the Meadow Lake Suite on Brockholes' floating Visitor Village, with hygiene measures in place to protect you and the in focus team. Don't forget your mask or face covering!
