Welcome to in focus

The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire Manchester and North Merseyside are very excited to announce the arrival of binoculars and optics specialists, in focus, to Brockholes Nature Reserve in Preston.

For the past 21 years, in focus have had a home at the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust’s Martin Mere in Rufford and have been a valuable source of information and expertise, as well as providing wonderful equipment for visitors to try before they buy.

Andy Bunting, shop manager at in focus said: “Our new shop at Brockholes over looks Pit No.1 and will be open 7 days a week between 10am-5pm. For 95% of our customers we will much easier to get to and our new test facilities will be fantastic. Our sales will support the conservation work of the Lancashire Wildlife Trust.

“We pride ourselves on offering expert advice in a natural setting, so with the panoramic views from the new shop out across the reserve our customers will be able to test equipment in field conditions.”

We are also pleased to be able to offer £100 voucher for in focus as the first prize of our monthly photography competition, open to all amateur photographers.

Brockholes and the in focus shop is currently closed due to Covid-19.
